Soft

The one thing I really enjoy doing is portrait photography. I love to capture the essence of people, whether it be candid or ultra posed. I believe there is always a meaning behind a face, as well as  a story. Well, as much as i love portraiture, it’s hard to find a willing candidate to be there when i’m in a creative mood. Which happens to occur at very random times, so of course the easiest subject would be me. It does get a little monotonous, but I love experimenting with different lighting and effects, i believe that each time i do i discover something different about my own face 🙂 So it’s a lot of fun really. Anyway, it was a rainy day outside…i’m home alone and slightly bored. I decided to take a series of ‘soft’ photographs to contrast my other self-portraits. Let me know what you think!

It’s definitely a 60’s thing.

Hrmmm, this is only the second photograph based around the 60s. Perhaps i’m a little in love with that era. Of course, there is a definite twiggy reference here, but i can’t say i really set out to imitate it. Anyway it was loads of fun and here it is 🙂
